Epic’s 41.10 Fortnite Ecosystem Updates and Release Notes says the June 25, 2026 release brings the Quest API to Verse as an experimental feature, letting creators build quests that appear in Fortnite’s native quest UI.
Key UEFN changes
- Quest API is available in Verse as an experimental feature.
- The Star Wars toolkit now includes over 30 droids plus a tauntaun variant.
- Scene Graph adds experimental Camera Components for programmatic control of the player’s perspective.
- Epic also lists tappable HUD widgets, new Synapse Station prefabs and galleries, and 71 new bricks for the LEGO Brick Editor.
The same release notes say some droids include control rigs for animation and that some allow paint-color changes, which may matter for creators building NPC-driven islands or companion experiences. (dev.epicgames.com)
The update is one of the clearest recent signs that Epic is broadening UEFN’s scripting and presentation layers at the same time, with quest logic, cameras, and UI all receiving attention in a single release. (dev.epicgames.com)
