Epic’s 41.10 Fortnite Ecosystem update, published June 25, 2026, adds a new experimental Quest API in Verse, letting creators build quest-driven progression that appears in Fortnite’s native quest UI. The same release also expands the Star Wars toolkit with over 30 droids and a tauntaun variant. Epic documentation documents the changes.
Scene Graph gets camera controls
The update also extends Scene Graph with Camera Components in experimental form, giving creators programmatic control over the player’s perspective from Verse. Epic says developers can attach a camera component to an entity, switch modes at runtime, and tune body and lens properties. Release notes describe the feature.
- Quest-driven progression is now available as an experimental Verse feature.
- The Star Wars toolkit adds droids and a tauntaun variant.
- Some droids include control rigs for animation and paint-color options.
- Scene Graph camera components are experimental in 41.10.
Epic also lists tappable HUD widgets with cross-device input support, new Synapse Station prefabs and galleries, and 71 new bricks for the LEGO Brick Editor in the same release. Those additions widen the menu of systems creators can use while building islands. Epic documentation provides the full release notes.
