In Epic’s June 17 State of Unreal 2026 roundup, the company said the Epic Games Store is now connected more closely with Fortnite: when players buy specific partner content on the store, they are granted cosmetics from that game’s IP to use in Fortnite. Epic also said the store now has more than 6,000 games from over 3,000 partners and that player spending on third-party PC games grew 57% in 2025, reaching $400 million. The company said it is rebuilding the launcher and storefront backend to ship features faster. Source.
