Epic’s current UEFN push is now split into two milestones: Sidekicks are already available as scriptable NPCs, while LLM-powered conversations become publishable on July 30. Epic says the Sidekick update is aimed at creature-based experiences and companion-style gameplay, and the LLM rollout will move those conversations out of Experimental status.
