PAC-MAN и Ironmouse выйдут 18 сентября, на следующий день после v42.20

The v42.20 update goes live Thursday, September 17 at roughly 7:00 AM ET, and the Kingdom Hearts crossover has taken up most of the oxygen around it. Worth separating out, then: Epic has confirmed a fair amount of this patch that has nothing to do with Sora — and two of the confirmed items do not arrive on patch day at all.

What Epic has actually confirmed

• A PAC-MAN crossover, including maze gameplay with the series' ghosts — September 18.
• Ironmouse Icon Series skins — September 18.
• A refreshed Loot Hack pool: Hyperburst Pistol, Mammoth Pistol, Reaper Sniper, Deadeye DMR, FlowBerry Fizz and Rocket Ram.
• Two new Lobby Hack codes: NocturneOp55N1 and BlinkyInkyPinkyClyde.

The split date is the detail worth flagging. Kingdom Hearts lands on the 17th with the update; PAC-MAN and Ironmouse land on the 18th. That is a staggered rollout rather than one drop, and if you are planning content, streams or an island update around the patch, a day of separation between the two headline beats is a scheduling fact, not a rumour.

The Ironmouse timing also lines up with the Duos Reload and Duos Zero Build Ironmouse Icon Cup, whose regional top finishers earn the Decora Ironmouse Outfit — the usual pattern of a cup running just ahead of a shop release.

Datamined, and labelled as such

Everything below comes from files rather than from Epic, which is the whole difference. Vice's September 16 rundown separates the two lists, and it is worth keeping them separated:

• A Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Lucy skin with the Monowire weapon.
• Persona collaboration content.
• A Geno's portal expansion, with map changes attached.
• The Battlewoods turning into a Halloween-themed POI.
• A Five Nights at Freddy's pizzeria location — read as a Fortnitemares teaser.
• A Ninth Birthday event with a Birthday Sprite.
• A third Lobby Hack code, DestinyAwaits, spotted in a marketing video.

The FNAF thread is older than this patch

The pizzeria file is not the first sign. The Arcade landmark northeast of The Battlewoods has been sitting on the map under construction since at least late August, and TechWiser documented it on August 21: two side pillars, a matching roofline and colour scheme, a central entrance, and inside, a stage plus rooms laid out as a kitchen, a bathroom, a parts-and-service area and a backstage. Players also found spring lock instruction notes in there.

So the map has been dressing itself for something for about a month, and the v42.20 files now add a pizzeria location on top. That is a consistent trail. It is still not an announcement.

Epic has confirmed neither a Five Nights at Freddy's collaboration nor the dates for Fortnitemares 2026. There is also a licensing wrinkle worth knowing before anyone promises animatronic skins: FNAF's creator has historically been reluctant about licensing the animatronics as playable characters, which makes environmental staging the more conservative expectation.

What to treat as the plan

The confirmed list — PAC-MAN and Ironmouse on the 18th, the new Loot Hack pool, the two Lobby Hack codes — is what to build a schedule on. The datamined list is what to keep an eye on without committing to. A season that already has a leaked calendar floating around it does not need another set of dates being repeated until they harden into assumed fact.
