Chapter 7 Season 3's Sprite hunt is now run on a timetable. Peely Hours — the window where Peeky Peely and its variants spawn at a boosted rate — run daily at 4pm and 11pm ET through August 5, one hour each, per Beebom's tracker, updated August 1.

On August 1 Epic also ran Web Shooter Hours: two two-hour windows, 2pm and 9pm ET, in which Spider-Man's Web Shooters were a guaranteed drop and Cube Sprite spawn rates went up, as ComicBook reported. That one is finished; the Peely windows are not.

The pattern is the story, not the loot

• Peely Hours — 4pm and 11pm ET daily, one hour, through August 5. Boosted Peeky Peely and variant spawns.
• Web Shooter Hours — August 1 only, 2pm and 9pm ET, two hours each. Guaranteed Web Shooters, higher Cube Sprite rates.
• Mastery Mondays — the recurring one: raised Sprite spawns, 2x Sprite Dust, 2x Sprite XP and extra Portable Extractors.

Three separate mechanics, one shape: a named window, a published time, a reward that is only worth chasing inside it. Epic has been building toward appointment play all season, and this is the tightest version of it yet — twice-daily, one hour, for six days.

Why an island builder should care about a Sprite event

Because a Power Hour is a scheduled concurrency spike, and concurrency is the thing your island is competing for. Players log in *for* the window, and what they do in the surrounding minutes is up for grabs. A launch, a mode rotation or a Discover push lands differently at 3:45pm ET than at 3:45am.

It cuts the other way too. During the hour itself, attention belongs to whatever Epic is boosting — that is the worst possible slot for a first impression of a new island. The useful read is the shoulder: the run-up while people are queuing in, and the tail once the window closes and the lobby is still full but no longer busy.

None of this is guesswork you have to do blind. The windows are announced with times, so the calendar is the one part of the algorithm Epic hands you in advance. Through August 5 there are two of them a day.
