Nintendo zapowiada dwa Directy na 8 i 9 września

Nintendo announced on September 4 that it will hold two presentations on consecutive mornings next week. A Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct runs on Tuesday, September 8, and a general Nintendo Direct follows on Wednesday, September 9. Both start at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET and stream on Nintendo's YouTube and Twitch channels.

The schedule

• September 8 — The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, roughly 30 minutes, dedicated to the series.
• September 9 — General Nintendo Direct, roughly 45 minutes.
• Both at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET, on Nintendo's YouTube and Twitch channels.

The two runtimes are the most concrete detail Nintendo has given. A 45-minute general Direct is a full-length broadcast rather than a single-game showcase or a Partner Showcase, and the anniversary Direct is a separate 30 minutes on top of it — about 75 minutes of Nintendo programming across two mornings.

What Nintendo has and has not said

Nintendo confirmed the dates, the times, the runtimes and the subject of the September 8 broadcast. It has not published a lineup for either show, and it has not said which platforms the September 9 Direct will cover. Everything circulating about specific games this week is speculation, not schedule.

The anniversary framing is the one real signal. The Legend of Zelda first released in 1986, so 2026 is the series' fortieth year, and Nintendo has chosen to give that its own broadcast rather than fold it into the general Direct. Splitting the two is itself informative: it means the September 9 show does not need to spend its 45 minutes on Zelda.

Why the time matters if you plan to watch live

7 a.m. PT is an early slot, and it lands mid-morning or mid-afternoon depending on where you are. If you are setting a reminder, set it against the time zone you actually live in rather than the PT figure — the same broadcast is being written up as 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and later depending on the outlet, and all of those are the same moment.

Both streams go out on Nintendo's own YouTube and Twitch channels, so there is no separate registration or app involved. Archived video normally stays up afterwards, which makes the live slot a convenience rather than a requirement.
