Fortnite v41.30 adds three Sprites, returns Springfield to Reload and opens the Spider-Man collab

Fortnite's v41.30 update went live on July 30, following scheduled downtime that began at 4:00 AM ET and ran roughly an hour and a half, with servers returning around 5:30 AM ET. The release brings three new Sprites, a new version of Springfield to Reload, and the start of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration.

Three new Sprites

Epic confirmed three additions to the Sprite lineup in this patch. One of them is flagged as considerably rarer than the others.

• Llama Sprite
• Peely Sprite
• Quack Sprite — a Zero Point Sprite, described as extremely rare

Springfield returns to Reload

The Simpsons come back to Fortnite with a new version of the Springfield map, this time in Reload. The collaboration previously ran as its own limited-time season, so the return lands as a map rather than a full takeover.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

The patch also opens the Spider-Man: Brand New Day tie-in. Two skins arrive with it — a Tom Holland Spider-Man and a Punisher modelled on Jon Bernthal's version of the character — followed by a Web-Shooter Power Hour event on August 1.

What is confirmed, and what is not

Files shipped with today's update have also been datamined for Chapter 7 Season 4 collaborations, with reports pointing to Sonic, Persona 5, Mega Man and Pac-Man. None of these have been announced by Epic Games, and datamined references have historically changed or been cut before release. Treat them as unconfirmed until Epic says otherwise.
